Southampton Airport Drop Off Charges
Southampton Airport Drop Off is just a one-minute walk away from the main terminal in the short stay car park. Passengers who choose this option will be charged a £6 fee for 20 minutes. This is an express service.
Passengers with electric vehicles will be able to access the pick-up and drop-off facility directly opposite the terminal free of charge for the first 20 minutes. In order for Electric vehicle users to get the free 20 minutes you must pre-register.
When you arrive at Southampton airport drop off you will have to take a ticked upon entry. You will then use this ticket again to exit and pay the £6 for 20 minutes.
Passengers can pay the £6 either at any of the existing pay stations in the car park or by driving directly to the exit barriers and using the integrated cash coin drop or by credit or debit card using contactless or chip and pin. Note that the exit barrier does not offer change and only accepts the following coins: 10p, 20p, 50p, and £1 and £2 coins.
Please note that dropping off passengers in unauthorised areas creates a risk both to the safety of passengers and other road users, as well as causing congestion and disruption to traffic.
There will be a charge of £80.00 which is payable by drivers who stop their vehicles to drop off and pick up passengers outside of the Southampton airport Short Stay and Long Stay car parks.
This charge is reduced to £50.00 if paid within 14 days.
Blue Badge Express Drop Off
Blue badge express drop off is available in the short stay car park where you can get 30 minutes for free. When you exit you will need to find the unpaid ticket bays located near the exit on the ground floor. Here you will need to provide your valid blue badge.

Southampton Airport Drop Off Free
Southampton Airport doesn’t have a free drop off. This is due to the Southampton Airport long stay car park closure where you could of got up to 30 minutes to drop off free of charge. This however no longer exists due to the long stay car park closure.
